In a chaotic city like Athens, sound is often perceived as ‘noise’ and a disruptor of the urban experience. But what if we took a moment to actually tune into the city’s soundscape? How can mindful listening change the way we understand and feel about our surroundings and what new creative pathways can it help us unlock?

Join us in the heart of Athens for a three-hour workshop that will reveal a new side to the city through a series of interactive exercises.

Ideal for creatives of all kinds, urban explorers, and those curious to explore new forms of mindfulness, this workshop invites you to engage with the city through observation, language, and the simple yet radical act of walking.

We’ll blend walking with short writing prompts and mapping exercises, exploring what it’s like to transition between acoustically ‘busy’ areas and quieter spaces, and learn how we can use sound to feel more present and connected.

We'll begin at the roof of Stoa Anatolis with warm-up exercises to help us cultivate our listening skills. We’ll then head outside to discover the neighbourhood’s acoustic signature, taking pauses to tune in and observe how the sounds are shifting us on an emotional and physical level.

Back at the roof of Stoa Anatolis, we'll be treated to a soothing sound bath with crystal bowls, and conclude with a group discussion and written reflections.

What you’ll take away:

✨ A print worksheet to help you practice mindful listening from anywhere
✨ Observational tools to add a new dimension to your creative process

✨ A deeper understanding of how the sounds of the city impact your nervous system

No previous writing or sound therapy experience is needed—just curiosity and open ears.

Spots are limited—reserve yours now and wander with us. Open to all!
